ReplyDeleteYou said 15-30 hours for the project. There's a huge gap between 15 and 30 hours. If they take 15 hours to complete the project and you planned for 30, you're going to have to scramble for activities.
Also, I noticed the worksheet involved is titled, "Where's My Veggies?" Where IS my veggies... You're modeling incorrect English. When 25 students' grammar is in your hands, it's important you model correct English at all times. Where ARE my veggies...
I love the last day- students evaluate another group's work- great idea! You'd need to monitor this of course. Great idea!
This project sounds great for your class! I think that it should be over a shorter period of time between 15 and 30 hours being that it is such a large gap in time. Otherwise I really think it is a really great project!!
